Challenge / Acoustic Universe ('96 ALV Music) CD
Based in L.A. Challenge is Arno Verstappen and Allison Lindsay. Allison's vocals are direct and powerful. Arno's guitar work has a touch of folk which blends very well with the songs. This is acoustic rock with a European flavor. These songs are giving Allison a chance to shine through her singing ability. Since Allison is a precious traditional female rocker, unlike other plain sounding female vocalists of today, I'd like to hear her with a heavier sound. I look forward to future work.
