It’s hard to believe that it has been more than 5 years since the last update!!  The good news is Allison and Arno are still at it; playing live and working on a new album.

The absence was due, in part, to a move from California to Austin, Texas “The Live Music Capital Of The World.”  In addition, they have been busy building a new pro studio called Dutch Master Recording Studio.

As a way of making a fresh start in Austin, the duo have retired the name Challenge and are now known simply as “Allison and Arno.”

This is the final update to the Official Challenge website. The site will remain available for the foreseeable future, so that everyone can review the band’s rich history.

Challenge is busy in the studio recording a new album.  The core of Challenge is of course, vocalist Allison Lindsay and guitarist Arno Verstappen.  The duo has assembled a brand new group of great musicians for their new crop of tunes. 

Here is some background info on the players:

Drummer Ron Wikso has toured and recorded with Foreigner, Cher, Richie Sambora, David Lee Roth, The Storm and many, many more.  Most recently, he has been playing with the Gregg Rolie Band. By the way, if you're into great melodic rock (which we presume you are if you're reading this) you owe it to yourself to find out more about Gregg's latest album "Roots."

Keyboard player Wally Minko has played with Jean Luc Ponty, Toni Braxton, Pink and En Vogue.  Just to name a few.  Lately, Wally has been working along with Ron in the Gregg Rolie Band.
